**“You hear now, mm? this not sound like music. this be memory crawlin’ back, soft, like mist ’round fire. voice no come from mouth. come from heart, from tear you didn’t cry. you ready? then let shaenol speak.”**

That’s how it opens.

No beat. No hook. No melody to hold onto. Just a voice, soft, strange, cracked open, speaking in a language you’ve never heard but somehow recognize.

It doesn’t introduce itself. It doesn’t ask permission.

It just *enters,* like a dream you weren’t expecting, but somehow remember.

That’s *Shaenol*. And this is where the story begins.

## 🕯️ A Song That Started With Family

This track was born one quiet night, sitting with my brother **Jon** and his son **Tommy**.

Two gifted musicians. Two artists with the kind of intuition that turns strings and rhythm into something spiritual.

I’m still learning, taking lessons, trying to get my fingers to cooperate with what my heart already knows. They weren’t showing off. They were helping me. Encouraging. Patient.

And as I sat there, feeling more inspired than intimidated, something in me lit up.

Not in competition. Not in comparison.

Just… creative fire.

It’s a familiar feeling. It shows up when I’m watching people I love doing what they’re made for. That fire always asks the same question:

**What are** **you** **going to make with what you’ve got?**

I don’t have their hands. Not yet. But I do have an instrument. A different one. One I’ve been learning to master in my own way.

And that night, I picked it up.

Not to match what they were doing. To build something that only I could make.

That’s where *Shaenol* started.

## I Use AI as an Instrument, and I Know How to Play

I use AI to create music, and I’m not here to defend it.

Because I’m not asking for permission. I’m creating with full intent, heart, and vision.

When I build with AI, I don’t step aside. I step *in*.

I design emotional arcs. I choose tones, textures, pacing, progression. I create vocal characters. I write original lyrics. I build language systems — like **Neh’ael**, the invented language of *Shaenol* — that don’t *translate*, but *resonate*.

The result? **Not something a machine made**.

**Something I made, through the machine.**

AI is my instrument. And I’ve trained my ear, my heart, and my imagination to play it in a way that’s real.

And just because the tool is new doesn’t mean the soul behind it isn’t ancient.

## ⚡ I Have ADD. And Imposter Syndrome. And They Both Try to Take Me Down.

There’s something else I’ve carried with me through this creative life: **ADD**, and its close companion, **imposter syndrome**.

ADD doesn’t just make focus hard. It creates noise. It short-circuits self-trust. It fuels guilt for not doing enough, not finishing enough, not being enough.

And imposter syndrome? It tags in when ADD wears me down.

Together, they whisper all the worst things at exactly the wrong time. And some days, I believe them.

So I overcompensate. I work harder. At work. At home. In the net on the ice. Trying to prove, to *myself* more than anyone, that I’ve earned my place.

But here’s what I’m learning: Those voices don’t always tell the truth. And when I’m quiet enough to hear something deeper?

I can feel the gift inside both.

My ADD lets me dive headfirst into creation. It makes time disappear when I’m in flow. It’s why I can create across genres and mediums with a kind of emotional agility that’s hard to explain.

And the imposter voice? It’s a reminder that I care deeply about the work. But it doesn’t get the final say.

Because when I zoom out, really zoom out, I can see what’s real.

I’ve helped lead an organization that improves lives every day. I’ve raised kids who are compassionate, brilliant, and strong.

**I’ve loved a woman who brings light into every room, who grounds me, challenges me, and makes this life worth coming home to**.

I’ve built a life rooted in love. In purpose. In creation.

I don’t owe anyone an explanation. I have not done this on my own.

But I owe myself the truth: **I’ve earned this and so have you..**

## 🎨 Some Days I Create Chaos. Some Days I Create Calm.

I’ve made people cry with an image I created. With a lyric. With a single line that cracked something open in someone who thought they were fine.

Some days, the work is raw — gritty, confrontational, heavy. Other days, it’s tender. Minimal. Built to whisper instead of shout.

I’ve made country songs. Rap tracks. Piano scores. Survivor anthems. Dark grooves. Love notes. Grief letters. Some of it I release. Some of it I create just for one person. Some of it never leaves my hands.

And then...

There might be a kind of work that lives even further out.

Different voice. Different current. Unclaimed. Unfiltered. A presence that doesn’t wear my name, but might still carry my fingerprints.

Maybe you’ve stumbled across something that felt strange. A little too raw. A little too free. And something about it made you stop.

Maybe it felt like mine. Maybe it wasn’t.

There’s no way to know for sure.

And that’s exactly the way it’s supposed to be.

## 💬 What *Shaenol* Really Is

*Shaenol* didn’t come from a concept. It came from a place I couldn’t explain, a space where emotion was louder than thought.

I built **Neh’ael**, an invented language where no word has a fixed definition, but every sound is tied to feeling.

There’s no map here. No tempo. No melody. No form.

Only space. Breath. And memory.

The voice that opens the track doesn’t sing, it speaks in pulses and fragments. It invites you in without guiding you through.

This piece isn’t meant to be heard. It’s meant to be felt.

And maybe, remembered.

## 🤲 Let This Song Be a Blessing

More than anything, *Shaenol* was made to hold people.

To quiet the noise. To pull you back into something sacred. To connect.

It’s not a single. It’s not a stunt. It’s not chasing likes or playlists.

It’s a sound offering.

And I hope, in some quiet moment, it becomes a blessing for you the way it has been for me.

## 🌙 A Quiet Moment That Said It All

Tonight, as the house settled and the day wound down, I sat on the couch , show playing, lights dim, everything slowing down.

Kellie looked over and asked, *"What are you working on tonight?"*

I smiled and said, *"Just playing."*

But I wasn’t *just* playing.

I was deep in it. In that place where time unhooks and the only thing left is *presence*. Where the guard drops. Where the noise quiets. Where I stop proving and start *listening*.

That’s what *Shaenol* gave me.

And I’m going to keep following that thread, wherever it leads.

## 🎧 *Shaenol* Is Now Live on SoundCloud

then it’s yours now, too.

Let *Shaenol* speak. Let it guide you.

Let it remind you:

> You are still here. You are still becoming. You are not done.

### 💬 What *Shaenol* Really Means

#### **(for those who stay a little longer)**

In **Neh’ael** *(pronounced: NAY-ha-el)*, words aren’t defined, they’re *felt*.

*Shaenol* is not a name. It’s a state. A shift inside you that wakes when memory does.

It blends three emotional tones:

- **Sha** *(SHAH)* a sacred call, the stirring of something long buried
- **Ae** *(EH-uh, like breath catching at the top of the throat)* the ache, the longing, the place where love meets loss
- **Nol** *(NOHL, rhymes with “soul”)* stillness, witness, the part of you that holds without judgment

Together, they form *Shaenol,*A word that doesn’t describe the feeling… it becomes it.

It’s the voice that rises when something unlatches in your soul. The hush that follows a grief you didn’t name. The feeling you didn’t expect, but needed.

It doesn’t translate. It doesn’t perform.

It remembers.

### 🧠 One Last Thing

If you made it this far and you're thinking, *"Wait... Mike created a whole language?"* *"Is he okay?"*

#### **Yes. I’m okay. I’m better than okay.**

This post might go deeper than what I usually share. It might sound a little mystical, a little intense. But I promise, I’m not seeing aliens, I haven’t lost my grip, and I’m not living in a forest talking to crystals. (Yet.)

**I just love creating. It feeds my soul. It opens my mind. And sometimes, that means building something that doesn’t quite fit into the usual boxes**.

Thanks for sticking with me. Thanks for feeling this.

I hope *Shaenol* finds its way into your own creative current, wherever that may lead.

#### **Nice job.. This was a long one.... Congratulations. You made it to the end.**
