- Description: On corporate greed, everyday struggle, and an album that pushed me sideways. There is a kazoo on this record and a didgeridoo, and I meant both.

Music has always been a way for me to say what’s hard to put into words. With **Louder Than Lies,** I wanted to take a closer look at the struggles we face every day—things like corporate greed, environmental destruction, and the resilience of people fighting to make it through. These songs aren’t about giving up. They’re about the power we have to stand up, push back, and find hope, even when things feel heavy.

This album challenged me in ways I didn’t expect. It’s a mix of styles, instruments, and messages that reflect how complex life can be. I worked in sounds like a kazoo and a didgeridoo, wrote some of my grittiest lyrics yet, and found moments of fun and optimism even while exploring serious issues. Let me take you through the tracks and what they mean to me:

### **The Songs**

**House of Cards**Systems collapse when they’re built on lies, and too often, the people holding everything up are the ones who get crushed. This song is about seeing the cracks in those systems and deciding to rebuild something stronger, something real.

**White Collar Dope**Addiction has torn apart families and communities, and much of it traces back to the greed of pharmaceutical companies. The fight is hard, but I’ve seen incredible strength in the people who push through recovery and support each other.

**Leaders in the Trenches**When leaders make decisions about war, they should be willing to face the consequences. This track shines a light on the disconnect between those in power and the people who actually fight their battles.

**Wage Slave Blues**The grind can feel relentless, but it also shows how resilient we are. This track is about the struggle to make ends meet while holding onto the belief that we deserve more.

**Privatized Pain**Healthcare has become more about profit than people, but the frontline workers—doctors, nurses, caregivers—remind me of what’s possible when we prioritize humanity over dollars.

**The Hunger Game**It’s frustrating to see people go hungry in a world that produces so much. This track is a call to rethink how we approach food, focusing on fairness and sustainability instead of waste and profit.

**Locked In, Locked Out**The prison system doesn’t just lock people away—it locks entire communities into cycles of pain. There’s a lot of work to do here, but I believe in the power of second chances and reform.

**Drowning in Debt**Debt feels like quicksand—it keeps pulling you under. But even in that struggle, there’s hope. The fight to escape and build a better life is worth it, no matter how heavy it feels.

**Ashes and Empires**This track looks at the damage we’ve done to the planet, but it also reminds us that we can rise from the destruction. It’s about protecting what’s left and fighting for a future where people and nature can thrive together.

**Broken Promises, Empty Pockets**Broken trust doesn’t have to mean broken spirits. This song is a rallying cry for everyone who’s been let down by the promises of those in power. Together, we can demand something better.

**Abecedarian Alchemy**

(**pronounced** **ay-bee-suh-DAIR-ee-an**) Sometimes, after all the heavy topics, you just need to have fun. This track is a playful dive into optimism and creativity, inspired by the energy of **Alphabet Aerobics**—a song my son mastered when he was younger. It’s fast, it’s wild, and it’s a reminder that there’s always room for joy.

### **What This Album Means to Me**

Every song on **Louder Than Lies** carries a piece of the stories I’ve seen and the hope I hold onto. There’s a lot of work to do in the world, but I believe we’re capable of rising to the challenge when we come together.

Thank you for supporting me through this journey. This album is one of the most personal projects I’ve ever taken on, and I can’t wait for you to hear it. **The album drops on 1/1/25**, and if you want early access, send me a message. Let’s start 2025 off with some real noise.
