Ordinary Tuesday
Songs Between the Chapters
The big moments are not always the ones we remember. This is a record about the ones in between.

What happens after the last page
The big moments are not always the ones we remember
After years of writing about resilience, family, purpose, and the people who carry us, I turned the camera inward and went looking for the moments that never make it into the headlines.
Sometimes it’s a Tuesday.
A laugh from the next room.
A conversation you didn’t know would be the last ordinary one.
A goodbye at an airport curb.
A fire burning low at one in the morning.
A person sitting beside you when there’s nothing left to say.
Ordinary Tuesday is a collection of stories about paying attention before the moment is gone. It is about learning that success is not always found in what we build, but in who is still sitting beside us when the building is done.
These songs carry grief, humor, gratitude, uncertainty, love, and the beautiful chaos of trying to live a meaningful life. No perfect endings. No finished chapters. Just the moments between them.
The ordinary days that turn out to be everything.
Why it shares a name
The letter and the record are the same idea
My newsletter is called Just an Ordinary Tuesday. That was not a coincidence, and neither is this.
The letter has always been about the same thing these songs are about — the week that looked like nothing and turned out to be the one that mattered. One version arrives in words. This one arrives in songs. The closing track is called After the Last Page, which is about as plainly as I know how to say it.
The record
Fourteen songs

Every song on this record got its own cover. Same driveway, same light, fourteen different Tuesdays.
Where to hear it. Right here, and on SoundCloud. That is it for now — the record goes out to Spotify and the rest of the streaming services later, once I set a release date.
Until then this is the place. Play it here, or open it on SoundCloud if you would rather keep it in your own library.
If this landed
Just an Ordinary Tuesday is the letter this album is named after. Essays mostly, and now and then a song, an episode, some artwork, or something from the advocacy work. It comes when I have something worth sending, and never otherwise.
