Why I love doing this
Most of my work puts me in rooms where people are trying to solve hard problems. A wedding gathers a room around two people and something hopeful. I love getting to be part of that.
Your wedding should feel like yours
I believe love is love. Every couple deserves a ceremony that respects who they are and the life they are choosing together. I listen closely so the words feel natural when you hear them and the ceremony has room for your personality.
The wardrobe has some range
One couple asked me to officiate in a referee shirt, which still makes me smile. I wore a rainbow stole while marrying two brides. There is a suit in the mix too, so apparently I am ready for almost anything.
The surprisingly official part
I became a Dudeist Priest on June 17, 2016, which feels very on brand. American Marriage Ministries ordained me on August 6, 2021. I have performed three weddings, and I would be honored to perform more.
