The story

That Christmas Feeling Again starts with a house in motion. The tree is lit, people move between rooms, and familiar music competes with the conversation. I find the meaning in that imperfect fullness. Christmas shows up through repeated gestures, voices we know, and traditions that carry earlier years into this one.

The title track welcomes the feeling before it tries to define it. Christmas at the Old House gives that feeling an address. A home holds layers of memory long after the rooms change or the family scatters. Going back to it, in person or through a song, sets this holiday beside every one that came before.

The First Noel and Angels We Have Heard on High connect the family celebration to the sacred story underneath it. These versions live in the same warm, acoustic world as the original songs. I treat the carols as living parts of the season, sung again because their language and melody still help people gather.

Snow's Coming Down Tonight slows the pace. Weather changes the sound outside and gives people a reason to stay where they are. Lights in the Window holds on to a simple sign of welcome. From the road, a lit window suggests warmth, safety, and someone expecting a return.

Home for the Christmas Parade puts the holiday out in public. A small-town parade brings neighbors into the same cold air, with kids watching, familiar faces passing, and local traditions surviving because people take part. The song values the event because people keep showing up for it.

When the Lights Go Down on Christmas turns toward the hour after the guests leave and the room settles. The quiet carries gratitude, tiredness, and the awareness that another year has moved through the family. The Christmas Medley and Away in a Manger go back to shared songs before Wrapping Up the Year closes the record with a wider look at what the year gave, took, and taught.

This album is for listeners who want holiday music close to ordinary life. Its Christmas has noise and stillness, faith and memory, old rooms and present company. The feeling comes back through attention to the people and places that make the season worth repeating.

Where it leads

That Christmas Feeling Again welcomes the season through family activity and shared tradition. One day later, Lights in the Window returned to many of the same subjects from a quieter place shaped by winter roads, changing traditions, grief, and home.
